MENIS - Measurement and Processing of Low-level ECG Signals by Non-invasive Method

Annotation

The project is continuing in research work: The processing low-level signals of the ECG“, which has been solved in  PhD thesis of Stefan Jurko. We can apply the processing of those signals, concrete signal of the His bundle or diagnostic H-V interval, in colaboration professor MUDr. V. Milovsky, CSc from Univeristy of Konstantine Philosophe in Nitra and MUDr. V Tazky from Hospital Department of Defence in SR a.s. Bratislava. The project is based on building of the laboratory with special instruments technic and shielded room, where we will realise concrete measurements and processing of the experimental results. The research work will deal with processing and analyse noise and useful components low-level signals of the ECG with the best output SNR (signal-noise ratio). The last period of the project is design of software for processing signals on-line.

We plann to realise building laboratory on mesurement and processing experimental results with best percentage positive results. We want to get high rejection noise components that is high SNR and we want to realise of the software for processing of the specific signals in process on-line, with no need of professional support.

We will realise the financing of the research goals by continuing project AV 4/0123/06 ,VEGA 1/3110/06 and other sources.

 

Time table solve project

 

The time table project is decomposed for three periods.

First period (januar 2007 to december 2007), to solve project, we want to create conditions for research and development measurement and processing biomedical signals and to build up of the laboratory with equipment for measurement and analyse signals in shielded room with antistatic floor.

On second period we want to solve project, januar 2009 to december 2009, we will realise research measurement, noise supression and evaluation of low-level signals of ECG by algorithm which was solved in thesis of Stefan Jurko and we will design concrete circuits for build equipment of the ECG low-level signals.

On third season or finishing season project, januar 2009 to december 2009, we want to solve a design concrete output of a software without co-operative of special technic persons that is evaluation of the measurement results of the low level signals in process on-line.

We will realise of financing the research goals by continuing project AV 4/0123/06 ,VEGA 1/3110/06.

Expected output

We will build laboratory for research puproses in domain measurement and processing biomedical signals.

We will cooperation with students for solving bacheler and engineer work.

We will realise of the output concrete software for processing low-level signals of the ECG in process on line.

We want to make contact with foregneir partners who are intersteing in the same research domain.

 

Goals

 

The project is oriented to the research and development of cardiovascular diagnosis of the heart conduction system in domain of the low-level signals of the ECG. We want to realize continuing research, measurement and processing low-level signals of the ECG and we would like to transmit results to clinical results with co-operation with expert cardiologist.
