Conference Venue

Bratislava is an important centre of economic, political and cultural life. Its rise was influenced by an advantageous geographic location. The ridge of the Small Carpathians mountains and the Danube river has protected its site from the south, west and north. The river and soil ensured appropriate living conditions and high rocky cliffs facilitated the construction of sites with fortifications

Department of Telecommunication is situated in walking distance from bus station “Slávičie údolie”, in building of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, in the block “B”. From railway station “Bratislava hl. st.” you can use bus No. 32 to destination “Slávičie údolie”.

The conference takes place in the Hydrostav hotel situated under the Castle “Červený Kameň“, about forty kilometers from Bratislava. The picturesque forests of the Small Carpathian Mountains surround the hotel; it is an ideal place for recreation and rest.
The nice surroundings facilitate walks and jogging, in the direction of the Castle Červený Kameň, to Zochova Chata (a chalet), to Smolenice, to the Cave Driny at Jahodník, to the Piešťany spa, etc.  In the neighbouring forests there are excellent conditions for hunting and riding.
